Sunan Abu Dawood 383

The Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah) in Sunan Abu Dawood 383 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُطِيلُ ذَيْلِي وَأَمْشِي فِي الْمَكَانِ الْقَذِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يُطَهِّرُهُ مَا بَعْدَهُ .

Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Muminin: The slave-mother of Ibrahim ibn Abdur Rahman ibn Awf asked Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: I am a woman having a long border of clothe and I walk in filthy place; (then what should I do?). Umm Salamah replied: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: What comes after it cleanses it.
