Sunan Abu Dawood 3899

حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَارِقٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَخَاشِنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَدِيغٍ لَدَغَتْهُ عَقْرَبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَوْ قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ يُلْدَغْ أَوْ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ .

Narrated Abu Hurairah: A man who was stung by a scorpion was brought to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. He said: Had he said the word: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created, he would not have been stung, or he said, It would not have harmed him.
