حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏زَادَ وَلَا عَلَى الْمُخْتَلِسِ قَطْعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ هَذَانِ الْحَدِيثَانِ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُمَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ مِنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبَلَغَنِي عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّمَا سَمِعَهُمَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ مَنْ يَاسِينَ الزَّيَّاتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُمَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Jabir through a different chain of narrators. This version adds: Cutting of the hand is not be inflicted on one who snatches something. Abu Dawud said: Ibn Juraij did not hear these two traditions from Abu al-Zubair, I have been informed by Ahmad. bin Hanbal saving: Ibn Juraij heard them from Yasin al-Zayyat. Aby Dawud said: Al-Mughirah bin Muslim has transmitted it from Abu al-Zubair from Jabir From the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.
