Sunan Abu Dawood 4788

The General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab) in Sunan Abu Dawood 4788 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Abu Dawood and has five hundred and two hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ يَعْنِي الْحِمَّانِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا بَلَغَهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ الشَّيْءُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَمْ يَقُلْ:‏‏‏‏ مَا بَالُ فُلَانٍ يَقُولُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِنْ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَقُولُونَ كَذَا وَكَذَا .

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: When the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was informed of anything of a certain man, he would not say: What is the matter with so and so that he says? But he would say: What is the matter with the people that they say such and such?
