Sunan Abu Dawood 568

The Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat) in Sunan Abu Dawood 568 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Abu Dawood and has seven hundred and seventy hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. The original hadiths are in Arabic, and English translations are available to make them easier to understand.

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ ائْذَنُوا لِلنِّسَاءِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ بِاللَّيْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ ابْنٌ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ وَاللَّهِ لَا نَأْذَنُ لَهُنَّ فَيَتَّخِذْنَهُ دَغَلًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاللَّهِ لَا نَأْذَنُ لَهُنَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَسَبَّهُ وَغَضِبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ ائْذَنُوا لَهُنَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا نَأْذَنُ لَهُنَّ .

Abdullah bin Umar reported the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; Allow women to visit the mosque at night. A son of his (Bilal) said; I swear by Allah, we shall certainly not allow them because they will defraud. I swear by Allah, we shall not allow them. He (Ibn Umar) abused him and became angry at him and said: I tell you that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Allow them; yet you say; we shall not allow them.
