حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا شُرَيْحُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَابْنُ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ وغيرهما من فقهاء أهل المدينة فإذا قُلْتَ أَنْتَ ذَاكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْ:‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَعْنِي قَوْلَهُ:‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.
