حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّلْحِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا نُقَيْبُ بْنُ حَاجِبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الزُّبَيْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْطَلْحَةَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِيَدِهِ سَفَرْجَلَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ دُونَكَهَا يَا طَلْحَةُ فَإِنَّهَا تُجِمُّ الْفُؤَادَ .

It was narrated that Talhah said: ”I entered upon the Prophet (ﷺ) and in his hand was some quince. He said: ‘Take it, O Talhah, for it soothes the heart.’”
