The Chapters On Medicine in Sunan Ibn Majah 3491 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Ibn Majah and has one hundred and fourteen hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمٌ الْأَفْطَسُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: الشِّفَاءُ فِي ثَلَاثٍ: شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ، وَشَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ، وَكَيَّةٍ بِنَارٍ، وَأَنْهَى أُمَّتِي عَنِ الْكَيِّ، رَفَعَهُ.
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “Healing is in three things: A drink of honey, the glass of the cupper, and cauterizing with fire, but I forbid my nation to use cauterization.” And he attributed it to the Prophet (ﷺ).
